Coordination and Sequencing
Direct mail performs best as an augmentation to multichannel activity. This means the entry criteria for direct mail is a confirmed successful email outreach. Further filters can then be applied, such as high value audience subsets, or intent events such as web views.
Once campaign prospects have been successfully engaged via email, physical addresses are sourced and verified, letters are then prepared and queued for dispatch.
Letters arrive in parallel with ongoing digital engagement, enabling recent emails to be referenced within letter copy as needed.
Cadence and Volume
Sending letters relies on sourcing PAF validated business address data for each prospect. This will typically be the primary in-country address for the prospective business, (I.e. national HQ).
Address find-rates naturally depend on audience profile, with viable addresses typically found for 30-50% of prospects.
Common reasons for data reduction include:
- No in-country address published. (More common for large businesses headquartered overseas).
- Address cannot be resolved with confidence (I.e. multiple companies with the same/similar name in region).
- Sourced address fails PAF verification.
Further recipient limitations are applied to ensure multiple prospects at the same company are not sent similar letters within close temporal proximity, reducing reachable prospects where larger target-businesses employ multiple in-scope prospects.
What if prospects work remotely, or at secondary/other business addresses?
Where businesses operate with multiple sites, it is not always possible to establish which employees work at each address. In practice, businesses will usually ensure incoming mail is routed to employees at the appropriate locations.

Pricing
Sopro Letters are billed at £1.50/unit including setup and management. (Reducing to £1.25/unit at 4000+ units/month)
As a working example a campaign targeting 2000 prospects per month could expect to send approximately 600-900 letters per month, billable at £900 – £1,350 monthly.
