Your Sopro onboarding journey, at a glance

To get the most from your Sopro campaign, we’ll need to work closely together in the first few weeks. Some steps are technical. Some are strategic. Some require your input, others are handled by us.

The goal is simple: a well-structured, high-performing campaign built around your business and your goals, and integrated into your existing sales and marketing operations.

You’ll get a clear view of how we work, and we’ll get to know your product, market, and ideal client profile. By the time we go live, everything will be in place – from campaign strategy to technical setup – so we can start delivering leads that matter.

Total timeline: around 3 weeks from kick-off to campaign launch

With continued support and optimisation beyond go-live.

While we need your involvement during onboarding, we take care of as much as possible. This upfront collaboration means everything is set up for success, and once your campaign goes live, we can handle the heavy lifting. Your team can then focus on growing the business while we deliver consistent, high-quality leads aligned with your goals.

Your campaign set up

We’ll need to set up a few things to get your campaign live and running smoothly. Some are handled by us, some by you, and some we’ll do together. We’ll guide you through every step, and if you’re having any trouble, just reach out to your Customer Success Manager.

1. Subdomains

Who does it: You (but we can help!)

What it is: You must set up dedicated subdomains for your outreach. Until this action is complete, we cannot start the countdown to campaign launch. Setting up subdomains improves email deliverability and protects your main domain reputation.

Why it matters: Once set up, we begin warming the subdomains by sending a small number of emails before the campaign goes live to build your sender reputation and avoid spam filters.

2. LinkedIn credentials

Who does it: You

What it is: Enter the LinkedIn details for each person we’ll be prospecting on behalf of in the Onboarding tab of your Sopro portal.

Why it matters: We’ll source your audience directly through your profile and use these profiles to reach out to your audience and grow your network with high-quality prospects.

3. Web plugin

Who does it: You

What it is: A lightweight plugin that tracks which prospects visit your site and what they look at.

Why it matters: It reveals valuable buying signals from prospects visiting your site. The plugin works even before your prospecting campaign is live, so we recommend actioning this ASAP!

If you’re using WordPress, download the Sopro web plugin here.

4. Email signature

Who does it: You

What it is: Your standard email signature (name, job title, contact info, logo).

Why it matters: We apply it to your outreach emails to keep your branding consistent and professional.

5. CRM integration

Who does it: Joint (we do this together)

What it is: Connecting your CRM to the Sopro platform, so leads flow directly into your system.

Why it matters: Sopro leads become part of your wider sales and marketing picture, giving you a complete view of prospect activity and outcomes. You can track activity, performance and ensure every lead is followed up.

We’ll run through this during your setup call, or you can follow the instructions in your Sopro Portal.

6. Exclusions

Who does it: You

What it is: A list of people or companies you don’t want us to contact, such as competitors, current clients, open opportunities or past prospects.

Why it matters: This protects existing relationships and ensures we only target the right prospects.
